Well, as you might have gathered from above list, Douglas and I complement each other very well, when it comes to taking care of you.
Just so you know, Douglas is a trained engineer. He has put his skills to work and built each cottage single-handedly and with lots of attention to detail. Our water is solar-heated, and the property is equipped with energy saving light bulbs. He made sure that the “green aspect” has been taken into consideration.
He also has a knack and love for restoring old trains. Evidence of that can be found in the backyard of our house, crammed with an impressive collection of old train parts waiting for their magical transformation. Douglas’ second hobby is collecting maps, and he loves to share his knowledge about the old and new Antigua.
As the person in charge of the organizational side of things, I make sure that you have everything you need. Once I am satisfied that all is running smoothly, I turn to my second passion – the arts. Expressing my creativity as an artist and painter is something I truly enjoy, and if you like I’ll be happy to show you a few pieces during your stay with us.
Douglas is originally from the U.K. and I am from Austria. We met here in Antigua, fell in love, and as they say “the rest is history…”
Yepton is our little “piece of paradise” and we are happy to share it with you. We enjoy good conversations and nice people, love our dogs, and can’t resist good chocolate and great curry, and…
